Mathematical Sciences Research Collaboratory
The Mathematical Sciences Research Collaboratory (MSRC) was established in 2023 to foster interdisciplinary and external collaborations across fields where mathematical expertise is integral. The MSRC Fund aims to support pioneering research within core mathematical disciplines as well as projects that bridge multiple fields. Funding is available for hosting research collaborators, facilitating faculty research visits, and organizing scholarly workshops and conferences.
Who Can Apply
This fund is not limited to only Mathematics faculty members. Any UConn faculty may apply as long as there is clear collaboration effort with the Department of Mathematics. Graduate students may also apply.
How to Apply
Faculty members interested in applying for funding are required to submit a proposal and budget to the Director of the MSRC. Upon approval, the Director of Business Operations will reach out to the applicant to review the budget details and outline subsequent steps.
