This is an endowed fund which will provide scholarships each year for undergraduate students.
Applications are accepted and recipients decided every Spring semester. The recipients of this award will hold the scholarship beginning in the Fall semester of the following Academic Year.

Selection Criteria:
- Academically outstanding undergraduate enrolled full-time in the UConn College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS).
- Demonstrated financial need.
- We will work with the Office of Student Financial Aid Services to verify an applicant’s financial need based solely on the applicant’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on record for the next academic year. If an applicant did not complete a FAFSA, then we cannot verify their financial need, which could affect their application being considered.
- Mathematics major or intending to declare a Mathematics major.
- U.S. Citizen or a legal resident (i.e., a Green Card holder).
Departmental Eligibility Criteria:
- A student is eligible to hold the scholarship in either or both of their last two academic years at UConn.
- Applicants must have completed at least four math courses at the 2000+ level before the semester in which they would hold the scholarship.
- Applicants must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.4 and a minimum GPA of 3.6 in math courses at the 2000+ level.

The 2027-2028 application submission period will open from May 11th – May 21st. The application material must be received via e-mail to Rachel D’Antonio by 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 21, 2027.
