Mission
Our group’s broad goal is to share insights and knowledge for the benefit and advancement of diversity and equity in mathematics. We aim to develop, evaluate, and adopt such efforts for ourselves, and to work with the Department, University, professional societies, and other institutions for their more widespread implementation.
This is an independent endeavor, not affiliated with UConn in any way, but consisting of, and open to all, staff, faculty, and students in our Department who may wish to either learn more about these causes or have ideas about their advancement.
For now, we have started a Team on Microsoft Teams where we are sharing ideas and resources, and discussing possible ways to moving forward.
